Stars Raise Money for Obama

A galaxy of stars including George Clooney, STEVEN SPIELBERG and Eddie Murphy helped raise $1.3 million at a fundraiser for Democrat US Presidential hopeful BARACK OBAMA last night (20FEB07).
The event at a hotel in Beverly Hills, California was organised by Spielberg and his Dreamworks studio co-founders JEFFREY KATZENBERG and DAVID GEFFEN.
Other celebrities in attendance included singer/songwriter JACKSON BROWNE.
Obama told the audience, "Don't sell yourselves short; you are the storytellers of our age."
